Kyoto to Osaka

Yesterday in Kyoto we went to the ninjo castle and the kiyomizudera temple (giant temple built using no nails!) there's 5 km of little shops up a mountain leading to this temple famous for its desserts and other sweets- I got some to bring home!! (Andy even likes them so I know the family will) we also went to the fushimi inari shrine which has thousands of tori gates lined in a row that you walk underneath (those orange structures). This was our non- Japanese food day - we went to Italian for lunch (well Japanese version of Italion food) and Dublin pub for dinner. Now we're in Osaka , with real beds :) they have tons of Michelin star restaurants and is the food capital of the world with the saying of "eat until you explode" or something..... Not sure how I'll do with that. Japan as a country has the most 3 star Michelin star restaurants in the world (France in 2nd). More good food!! It was only a 30 min bullet train ride from Kyoto. We stay here for 4 days then head back to Tokyo and then home but we have lots of day trips planned so I'm very excited!! Miss everyone!!
